Amiss, I don't know about you, but living in the right neighborhood is a must when it comes to finding a suitable home for your family. My experience in real estate has afforded me the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of most neighborhoods. I can share with you neighborhood details and the things to be on the lookout for while you are touring through some homes in our area. Here are three things to consider when searching for the right home: Take in your surroundings When you begin driving around looking at houses, don't be solely focused on the home. Take in your surroundings, neighbors and facilities. Be observant and trust your gut when it comes to picking the right home in the right neighborhood. Reach out to friends & neighbors Don't be afraid to ask others. Social media is your friend. Get feedback from others on particular neighborhoods, but know it's all opinion. Ultimately you are going to call this location home, so trust your instincts. Check out online resources Do your due diligence. You can find lots of resources online about specific neighborhood amenities. If nothing more, these 3 steps will give you a bit more insight to the area you would like to call home.
